Jim and Jenny Carlson have called Telluride home since 2005. Jim, a Colorado native from nearby Montrose, founded Carlson Customs in 2006, building a reputation for quality craftsmanship, exceptional property care, and trusted homeowner relationships throughout Telluride and Mountain Village.
Over the years, the company expanded through referrals and long-term client relationships, evolving into Basecamp Management—Telluride's complete home services team providing property management, vacation rentals, maintenance, construction, and real estate expertise under one roof.
In 2023, Jenny joined the company full-time after nearly two decades in Telluride's vacation rental industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a leading local lodging company. Her extensive experience in vacation rentals, marketing, revenue management, and guest services helps homeowners maximize the value and performance of their properties.
