Maintenance Technician
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Telluride, CO. The Maintenance Technician will be part of our dedicated team and be responsible for a variety of repair and maintenance work; including carpentry, basic AV/electrical/plumbing work, snow removal, maintenance on equipment and all aspects supporting our property management operations.
The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot and effectively diagnose any issues and work efficiently to fix them. This position will involve all sorts of carpentry and trade work, and the applicant should be highly sufficient in such work. They should take direction well and be able to work independently to complete a task and successfully follow up on progress of outstanding work as well as communicate effectively with the rest of the team.
The ideal applicant;
- Has their own tools and is keen to excel in this position
- Has solid experience within carpentry and the trades, including plumbing, electrical and AV work
- Is fluent in English
- Has a valid driver license and their own, reliable transportation to/from Telluride
- Has a great eye for detail and is computer literate/proficient in iPhone Notes
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus
Qualifications
- Overall good knowledge of carpentry and the trades and can trouble-shoot and diagnose potential issues and perform maintenance and repairs effectively with good, long-lasting quality
- Equipment Maintenance skills
- Ability to operate and maintain power tools and equipment used in construction, maintenance and snow removal
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, AV and/or electrical work
- Experience in property management or a related field is a plus
Pay range is $25-$35/hour DOE
